Meet Lisa — IVF Coach, Bestselling Author, Podcaster

“I’ve lived this path too & I Understand.”

Lisa is a native of Denver, Colorado, and currently resides just north of Denver with her husband, Jason, and daughter, Olivia. She is an IVF Mama, holistic IVF life coach, #1 best selling author, occupational therapist, speaker, and podcaster host.

As a lifelong practitioner of conscious living and manifestation, she has made her “miracle mindset” a way of life. 

The path to becoming a fertility coach is one she had never planned on, yet she believes it’s the work she has been called to do. Lisa is deeply passionate about supporting others on their fertility journeys with a holistic approach to address the multiple areas that are impacted by one’s fertility struggles - mental, physical, emotional, and spiritual well-being. Her 20+ year background as an occupational therapist helped support her through her own fertility journey, and also contributed to the foundation of her framework—The IVF Soul Align Method. A unique mind, body, spirit approach that she personally lived and now guides others through.  

Education and Work Background:

Lisa received her degree from Creighton University in Omaha, Nebraska with a Bachelor of Science in Occupational Therapy. She also attended Colorado State University where she completed her undergrad coursework and accomplished her dream of playing Division I volleyball. After internships at Disney World with the Walt Disney World College Program, a summer in the Dominican Republic working as an OT student, and level 2 Fieldwork internships in Denver an Arizona, she decided to adventure to California.

Two weeks after September 11, 2001 she moved to the beaches of San Diego where she began her career as an occupational therapist working with diverse populations ranging from pediatrics to seniors and across multiple settings — hospitals, schools, skilled nursing, ICU, rehabilitation, assisted living, and home health. Nine years later she realized “the mountains were calling,” and decided to return to her home state of Colorado. It was there where she met her husband and began to dream of a family.

…when she and her husband learned of their fertility challenges and began the path of IVF. Little did they know the long journey that awaited them. Countless Dr. appointments, medications, 2 egg retrievals, and 3 unplanned surgeries later (polyp surgery, scar tissue surgery, and fibroid surgery), they were ready to transfer their one and only healthy embryo.  The “little embryo that could” found its way and was ready to pop out at 37 weeks- she is her mama’s miracle indeed.  Becoming a mother at the age of 40 is one of the biggest blessings Lisa has ever received.  

Sharing Her Story:

On Mother’s Day of 2020, her first book, ‘Hold On, Baby! - A Soulful Guide to Riding the Ups and Downs of Infertility and IVF’ was released.  It became a #1 bestseller on Amazon and has aided many individuals on the emotional rollercoaster of IVF. In 2021 her book was honored by the European Fertility Society as a Highly Commended book for the Fertility Care Awards.

In this book, Lisa helps empower you to take an active role in your fertility journey. She shares ways to connect with what you can control in order to thrive during IVF. You’ll learn ways to help yourself stay grounded utilizing a holistic approach while looking at physical, mental, emotional, spiritual, and social support. Lisa also strives to deepen your sense of trust in yourself and your baby-to-be. She is blown away by the reach it’s made supporting women around the world.

Coaching Women

Lisa started supporting women on their fertility paths with coaching support in 2019. It was a year later in 2020 when she decided to create a YouTube channel; A place to share both clinical and should conversations. “Clinical Conversations” was birthed in collaboration with her fertility doctor. She and her doctor discuss the latest hot topics and share the most recent, up to date research related to IVF and fertility. “Soul Sister Conversations” were also created out of her passion for sharing women’s stories of hope, inspiration, and empowerment.

Lisa has been a guest on multiple podcasts, a speaker for summits and support groups, and has been a co-author of 2 other fertility books.

2022 - 2023

Lisa decided to create a podcast she saw missing in the fertility space. Thus, SOULFUL IVF was born and the trailer was released in December of 2022. Her podcast officially launched on January 11, 2023. It has been ranked in the top 5% of all podcasts globally and has reached 55 countries and counting! In 2023 the European Fertility Society awarded Lisa the “Highly Commended Award” for Best Fertility Coach. Such an honor to be listed as one of 4 fertility coaches worldwide for this prestigious honor.
